Sophia is a UK based filmmaker. She studied acting at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and started working in television, film and theatre. Since 2017, she has turned her attention fully to filmmaking and has her own  production company, Certain Light Films.

She was also awarded Best Director at Oslo Independent Film Festival in 2018 and The Wider Sun voted as Best Short Film by Take One Magazine.
